 Greetings from the President....

Greetings FCCD Family, Friends and Colleagues,

On September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian made landfall in the southwest Florida area as a Category 4 hurricane.  The ferocious 150-mph winds pushed ashore water from the Gulf of Mexico that ravaged through homes and businesses along the coast.  Many of our very own FCCD Family members lost their homes and experienced major damage.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with all the Floridians that lost a loved one from this devastating storm.  With our 2022-2023 theme focusing on families, Team FCCD has launched the “Adopt-a-Family” Hurricane Relief Drive to help and assist impacted families across the state.

We are asking each of you to collect items such as cleaning products, paper products, personal hygiene items, pet food and other relevant supplies for families.  We will collect these items until our 1st Quarterly Board Meeting on November 3, 2022.

Please see the flyer for more details.  Thank you in advance for all your donated time, supplies and resources for this great cause.  God bless and take care.

Alice B. Sims, State President
