Greetings from Our president....

Dear Members of the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency,

As we gather—either in our hearts or in person—during this Holiday Season, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for each of you.

In keeping with this year’s theme of Mind, Body, and Spirit, I would also like to extend special thanks to those serving in our mighty military forces. I ask that you keep in your thoughts and prayers those serving stateside, those deployed around the world, members of our National Guard, and the young Americans currently enrolled in ROTC programs.

If you are interested in finding information about personnel you or a loved one may have served with—regardless of how long ago—the website www.togetherweserved.com is a wonderful resource available to you.

I personally applaud the way you have embraced the Mind, Body, Spirit theme through your dedication and community service efforts. I smile even bigger when I read your emails, see your Facebook posts, and view the wonderful photos of chapters throughout the state actively serving their local communities. The contributions you continue to make are truly immeasurable.

We are encouraged by the continued growth of our membership and ask that you keep seeking new members. Membership is the lifeline and heartbeat of our organization. As a reminder, anyone may join the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency at all levels through the FCCD website.

One of our core purposes and mission is to provide relevant and meaningful training. This training may be held in person, during lunch-and-learn sessions, or virtually via Zoom. If your chapter is in need of training ideas or support, please reach out to a member of the Executive Board—we are happy to provide resources and referrals.

I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming 2nd Quarterly Board Meeting, scheduled for January 9–10, 2026, at the beautiful Shores Resort & Spa, located at 2637 S. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach Shores, Florida 32118.

In closing, may you feel the warmth of a hug, see the hopeful twinkle in a child’s eye, hear the songs of the season, smell fresh pine and baked cookies, and experience the true reason for the season in your lives.
John 3:16

From our family to yours, Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!

Warmly,
Sara A. Zamora-Baldridge
State President
