Fostering interagency collaboration of all criminal justice entities, providing relevant training, and encouraging community service throughout the State of Florida.
This training is designed to give an understanding about what makes sexual offenders and sexual predators tick. We will discuss the sexual offenders and predators from both a clinical and a criminal justice point of view and how the two intertwine, as well as, how each aspect determines who is a predator and more likely to re-offend. Finally, we will look at the treatment of this population and the role the criminal justice field and society plays in that treatment.
