Let's learn more about Mary who was selected as our 2nd quarter Spotlight member. 

Mary Widgeon has recently taken over as Chapter 21 President in early November. She is a Correctional Officer with the Florida Department Corrections at Jackson Correctional Institution. She has been a member of the Jackson CI family since April 27, 2012. Mary has been a member of FCCD since 2017 and continues to be a proud member to this day. Since taking over as President she has organized the first Chapter 21 Golf Tournament since 2017, started the first ever Chapter 21 Holiday Canned Food Drive which will now be an annual event, assisted with the Winter Jacket Drives at Jackson CI and ACI, organized the annual Christmas Toy Drive at Jackson CI. Prior to becoming Chapter President she organized the first Dessert Auction for Chapter 21 last April which was very successful and is now a semi-annual event as well as helped with several chance to win fundraisers and Membership Drives. She has already scheduled a retirement training for January 17th as well as an STG training for February 23rd both of which will be held at the Training Building at Jackson CI. Mary is dedicated to being a successful President for Chapter 21 and hopes to continue to lead the Chapter in the right direction.
